Judgment Day 1

Judgment Day

Terror comes prowling by night
With fearful armies of destruction
Thriving on the reward of brutality
Their mission approved by the godless

In the wake of their rampage trailing
Arson, destruction, blood and tears.
A baby ripped from a mother’s womb
A child stolen away never to be found.

But from the palace, there is loud silence
Not a word of reproach, not of regret.
With boldness evil struts day and nights
And day by day peace painfully dies

A wind of evil blows about in the streets
Making monsters of the willing mind
Making timid the living conscience
A wind of evil blows about in the streets

Blowing over streets scourged by sadness
With a future of pains all that is promised
From a tyrant’s frown, from a slumbering justice
Day by day the people silently die.

They that would live forever must bear a cross.
Like angels they must strive to be beautiful
From bodies broken by the fist of repression
Arise always, spirits full of purpose

Cries of anger and pain will arise
To speak against a constant dread
To speak against the terror of the night
To speak against the evil of the day

Cries of anger and pain will arise.
To save the slumbering from their death
Cries of anger and pain will arise.
To rouse against the relentless swarm

Cries of anger and pain will arise.
Cries of anger and pain will arise.
Cries of anger and pain will arise.
Cries of anger and pain will arise.
